Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals, both of whose semi-final aspirations hang in balance, have everything to play for as they take on each other in the night game of Super Saturday at the Eden Gardens here.
For Rajasthan, who are on 12 points with six wins, Saturday’s game will be their last league encounter. A win here, will put them at par with Delhi and Deccan with 14 points. But they will need a big win to sneak into the last four as their net run rate is a matter of much concern and both Delhi and Deccan have a game left to play on Sunday. Kolkata, on the other hand, will have two games and a win in both will see them jump to 14 points.
The Royals’ batsmen are in descent form and the top order has got some good starts. In middle order the likes of Yusuf Pathan, Adam Vogue, Abhishek Jhunjhunwala have also impressed with their knocks. All-rounder Shane Watson will again hold the key in the game against Kolkata.
